Nitty Gritty Filtration



Another addition to the Time and Tide is a ceramic water filter in line with the water pump and the three fresh water tanks.  The filter has a sub 1 micron rating which removes those pesky microorganisms that cause so many intestinal problems.

    They are kept as pets (probably eating tacos) until I remove the housing and clean the filter elements with a brush and water---6 soft ceramic fingers with carbon inside.
