A long exposure setting (Starry Night 30sec) allowed not only comet Hartley 2, but also a nearly invisible to the naked eye trailer to be visible in the photo. Somewhere in the constellation Cassiopeia, located near the center of the photo, the comet is slowly tracking toward a rendezvous with NASA probe Deep Impact/EPOXI on November 4th.
