You went from Memphis to Houston, and then which way after that? Magadan terminal looks very utilitarian...could just be all the ice and snow...

ReplyDeleteMoscow to Magadan direct on an older Boeing 767. Got off the plane on the runway, crossed an ice-splotched tarmac to the bus and then drove to the terminal(?) where 20 minutes later they removed the padlocked door to the baggage area and 200 people crowded around 40 feet of belt trying to grab bags. You actually have to have your bag ticket to get out of the area---just in case you ever come here :)
