So how much does a 100 pound
golden retriever lap dog shed? Bunches and bunches. Our poor Roombas try everyday to keep the hair balls at bay with decent success. One of the side effects is hair building up in the brush gearboxes---I guess the design engineers didn't have retrievers to test with. I modified both gear boxes with sealed bearings to stop this from happening and was suprised when I found out that geeky DIYers all over the country have done the same thing.
