Polly wants a Cracker

Whipped up some simple dough to try my hand at cracker making

The basic ingredient

The healthy ingredient



Rolled out on parchment paper, seasoned and sliced


Baked....



Cooling....


Reference sized....




And boxed by a leading independent bakery!!!

  1. here is what I used:

    2 cups flour, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/2-3/4 cup of water.

    Mix the flour, oil and slowly add water in a Kitchenaid mixer until a nice dough is formed.

    Roll very thin and season as desired...mine needed to be thinner and bake at 375F until they start to brown ~15min

    I might try added some seasoning/cheese to the dough when mixing next time.
